Mr. Ramesh Narayanan is an Engineering Graduate of year 1989 – 1993 batch, from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Kerala (India). He started his career with Galactic Engineers and Consultants (India), where he spent a year in surveying and levelling works of projects related to aquaculture farm development. Thereafter, he joined National Building Design Centre (India) as Site Engineer and was involved in execution of projects related to restaurants, auditoriums, designer houses and resort hotels.
After completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Construction Management from NICMAR (New Delhi) in March 2000, he joined Dodsal Ltd as Planning Engineer. He was involved with EPCC of multiproduct pipeline projects and gas pipeline projects. He then joined Dodsal Pte. Ltd. (Dubai), and executed gas and multiproduct pipelines in UAE and Sudan. For a brief period from June 2005 till November 2005 he joined Gammon India Ltd. at their Head Office for coordinating pipeline jobs executed in India.
Mr. Ramesh Narayanan, joined Punj Lloyd at their Indonesia Office in December 2005 as Senior Manager and executed two pipeline projects as Project Control Manager (EPCC) and as Project Manager (C), both the projects were completed on schedule. He then was given new responsibility of EPCC pipeline project in Malaysia (Sabah-Sarawak, PETRONAS) in March 2008 where he worked as Project Control Manager and Deputy Project Manager. He then promoted as General Manager and given the responsibility to complete the electromechanical erection of conveyor systems project for VALE and the same was completed ahead of schedule. From October 2013, Mr. Ramesh Narayanan was posted at their Malaysia Country Office and he coordinated in Malaysia including RAPID Tank Farm Project developed by PETRONAS and Sabah-Sarawak Gas Pipeline project (PETRONAS CARIGALI) and he left Punj Lloyd in July 2016 and the last position held by him was Associate Vice President.
Mr. Ramesh Narayanan has been actively involved in successful completion of various cross country Oil and Gas Pipeline Projects, Oil and Gas Storage Tank Farms, Electromechanical erection of conveyor systems, restaurants, auditoriums, designer houses and resort hotels, for several prestigious clients like PETRONAS, PGN, ONGC, DOLPHIN ENERGY, IPCL, PETRONET, UDAY SAMUDRA (resort hotel), AZAD CHAIN OF RESTAURANTS and others.
